Prairie Sky Jewelry Co is a family-owned and operated studio built on craftsmanship, faith, and a deep respect for life’s meaningful moments. Founded and run by husband and wife Kenyon and Luke Lomax, the journey began long before the showroom—traveling the country in a camper from 2014 to 2018 chasing welding work and learning the value of hard work, resourcefulness, and building something with your hands.
In 2018, the Lomaxes settled down to renovate a small homestead, planting roots and beginning the slow, intentional work of building a life and a business. By 2020, they had restored their first jewelry store, and in 2024 completed the renovation of their permanent studio and showroom, where Prairie Sky continues to grow.
Today, Prairie Sky Jewelry Co focuses on heirloom-quality custom jewelry made with traditional techniques and the finest materials. Every piece is created as art, not product—a celebration of the beauty of life, love, and the milestones that shape our stories. With a deeply personal approach rooted in family values and Christian faith, Kenyon and Luke believe jewelry should be more than beautiful—it should carry meaning, build relationships, and be treasured for generations.

Kenyon has worked in the jewelry industry for over 15 years, earning early recognition as an internationally published artist and designer in publications such as Cowboys & Indians Magazine, Cowgirl Magazine, & Vogue.
Kenyon oversees the day-to-day operations of Prairie Sky Jewelry Co., including design, management, customer relations, and social media. Kenyon’s favorite part of her work is meeting with clients in the showroom and collaborating on custom bridal suites, bringing each unique vision to life with care and expertise.
Kenyon's hallmark is a 'ꓘL' on the back or inside of her works.
EST 2017
Luke joined Kenyon in the business after a successful career as a traveling welder and crane operator. Seeing the success of Prairie Sky as an opportunity to put down some roots, Luke learned silversmithing and began crafting one of a kind works while also renovating/building their home, first store, and current (permanent!) showroom.
Luke is now an accomplished jeweler who most enjoys working with coins, gold and diamonds to build unique, Western-inspired pieces.
Luke's hallmark is an 'LL' on the back or inside of his works.
EST 2021
Bean Lewis joined the business in 2021 as an apprentice and has since become an accomplished bench jeweler. Having chosen this career immediately out of high school, he has crafted thousands of pieces for Prairie Sky and creates many of our one of a kind works.
A member of the Osage, Cherokee, and Delaware tribes, Bean most enjoys creating heirloom pieces he knows will last many lifetimes.
Bean's hallmark is a 'B' on the back or inside of his works.

Prairie Sky is built on one primary concept - heirloom quality. Every design, each individual piece, is meant to last more than one lifetime so it can be passed down for generations. We're passionate about family legacy and helping you build yours. Our pieces are so often chosen as gifts for the meaningful moments in life - we want those memories to last long after we're gone, so quality materials and integrity in design are absolutely paramount.
'Heirloom' impacts all aspects of our work. We start with quality raw materials - sterling silver and 14k gold refined in the U.S. and stones directly from the source. We've worked hard to build relationships with our supply partners and are proud to consider many of our lapidaries our friends.
